If the changes are made in house to an existing gown then it will not be so much of a problem. However most times when a dress is ordered it has to be adjusted. This means you must watch your diet until after the wedding ceremony.

Even if you order or create a wedding gown at least 99% of the time the dress will need alterations. Once the dress gets alterations then you should ensure that the dress fits and fits comfortably. Sure you want to wear something sexy on your wedding night but its best to buy lingerie for that. However your undergarments should match you skin color. If it does then it would less than likely show up through the wedding dress.
