If you’re most interested in doing the leg-work, then plan the celebration yourself. You’ll have a long to-do list, but you’ll save some money in the planning category.

While planning your destination wedding, there is one vital that you should keep in mind. First and foremost, check with the state/country that you’re traveling to and get details on marriage laws. Often times, the laws for receiving a marriage license are different and you wouldn’t want to make it back home and realize that you weren’t actually married!

A pioneer wedding is actually what is known as a throw back wedding. A really far away throwback in fact to the time of the American pioneers.
